• All cancellations must be received in writing to info@coveecoresort.com
• Raja Ampat Handling Fees and Insurance are strictly non-refundable and are excluded from any refund or credit calculation, unless they have not been already purchased by the Resort.
• Cancellation with Rebooking (Voucher):
- Cancellations made >60 days prior to arrival receive 100% voucher.
- Cancellations made 31-60 days prior receive 70% voucher.
- Cancellations made 8-30 days prior receive 60% voucher.
- Cancellations made 0-7 days prior receive 50% voucher.
- Rebooking Fee of 300 EUR applies if a 2nd+ cancellation occurs again after the first cancellation.
• Cancellation with Refund:
- Cancellations made >60 days prior to arrival receive a 70% refund of the total invoice.
- Cancellations made 31-60 days prior receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival forfeit the full payment (no refund).
- The initial 30% deposit is strictly non-refundable.
• If booked via a travel agent, refunds must be claimed via your agent.
• No-Show: If guests do not arrive as scheduled without sending late arrival information, the booking is deemed cancelled after 24 hours with no refunds issued.
• Any refunds outside of our terms will be a claim on your Insurance company.
• In the event of a late arrival or early departure no refunds are eligible.
• Late arrivals and early departures may incur additional transfer and accommodation costs, typically 650 EUR per island transfer via Waisai day and 85 EUR per night in Sorong until next available Ferry to Waisai.
• Base package inclusions (scheduled transfers, included activities, meals, accommodation) and Raja Ampat Handling Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Pre-paid optional activities (Dive packages, extra excursions, courses) are non-transferable to other persons.
• Dive Packages: If unused, guests may adjust the price based on the actual number of dives consumed at "A La Carte" rates. A refund is only issued if the "A La Carte" total is less than the package price, capped at a maximum of 50% of the dive package net price.
• PADI Courses: Cancellations incur a 300 EUR fee to cover e-learning and enrollment.
• General Activity Cancellations: Cancellations of other optional activities (due to illness, delay, or change of mind) will be refunded at 50% of the price paid.
• Refund Method: All refunds for activities are first issued as resort credit to be used during the stay. Any unused credit remaining at check-out will be refunded at 50% (except for excursion price adjustments, which are refunded at 100%).
• Excursion prices depend on the total number of participants sharing the boat (free for <18 years). Initial invoices use a provisional price based on expected participant numbers.
• If fewer guests join than expected, the per-person price will increase. Guests may choose to pay the higher rate or cancel the excursion.
• If more guests join than expected, the per-person price will decrease. The price difference is issued as resort credit, and any unused portion will be refunded at 100% at check-out.
• We aim to plan an exciting itinerary of sites for diving and snorkeling.
• The sites on the itinerary are the decision of Cove Eco Resort managers based on several criteria including weather, tidal conditions, divers experience, apparent health and the interests of the majority of guests.
• We aim to accommodate all guests requests but we do not guarantee to include specific sites in the itinerary (weather, interest of the group, level of experience, etc…). Some sites may not appropriate for some divers.
• Diver shall be certified to Open Water Diver level at the minimum. Cove Eco Resort will verify the Certification validity. Non certified diver can only perform Discovery Dive with dedicated Dive Master.
• Divers must have valid Dive Insurance that covers medical evacuation. Divers without insurance will not be allowed to dive.
• Guests may subscribe to a DAN short-term dive insurance directly through us.
• Cove Eco Resort is not liable for any travel or medical-related costs.
• Due to the cancellation costs and delayed arrival costs, travel insurance is strongly advised and should be purchased well in advance to cover additional cost incurred by a cancellation or delayed arrival.
• Reservation is confirmed upon payment of a deposit equivalent to 30% of the invoice.
• The balance has to be paid 60 days prior arrival.
• For reservation in less than 60 days from arrival, full payment of the invoice is required to confirm the reservation.
• Bank fees if any, are not included in the price and shall be paid by the guest.
• Without proof of transfer received within 7 calendar days from the invoice date, the reservation will be considered cancelled and in such event would be notified by Cove Eco Resort to the guest by email.
• Reservation Payment: Online credit card payments made during the reservation process are processed in USD with a 6% fee.
• On-Site Payment: Extras incurred during the stay can be paid in cash (IDR, USD, or EUR in pristine condition, issued after 2006). Credit card payments made at the resort or in Sorong are processed in IDR with a 4% fee.
EUR conversion to USD or IDR for any payment is based on the mid-market exchange rate plus a 1% fee.
• Early Bird, Returning Guest and Local Discounts are only available for Direct Booking (not via Travel Agent)
• Early Bird, Returning Guest and Local Discounts can be cumulated for a maximum of 20% in total
• Discounts do not apply on any added or adjusted item at the resort.
• EUR conversion from/to any other currencies (USD, IDR, GBP, AUD, NZD, SGD, AED), is based on mid-market exchange rate +1% fee
