Excursion 1: Wayag Archipelago

The journey will take about 2 hours and 30 min boat ride to the island of Wayag. Wayag is made of little islands and it is one of the icon used everytime Raja Ampat's name come to mind. The picture of Wayag is also displayed in our newest 100 thousand rupiah currency as one of Indonesia's national treasure. Please expect some difficult hiking and trekking because we will visit 2 points to catch the breathtaking view. When back from the hill, you will appreciate to swim in the warm and quite lagoon. after early breakfast, departure around 05:30am to see the magnificient bird of Paradise and the unique sand bank of the sinking island and area of Dampier Strait. The trip will start by Sawingrai village to watch the majestic Cendrawasih (bird of Paradise). After arrival around 06:30am we will walk into the forest to reach a bird watching spot. The Bird of Paradise usualy play in the morning from 07:00am to 08:00am. After Bird watching you can enjoy snorkeling around Sawingrai jetty which has colorfull corals. After a snack, you will then head to the Yenbuba jetty and enjoy snorkeling. You will then go to the sinking island of Pasir Timbul located at Kri which is famous for the large sand bank where you can relax and enjoy the unique view. We will have a lunch there. After lunch, you will head to the Arborek village where you can interact with locals and snorkeling or dive around Arborek jetty to see giant clams, schooling fish, and corals. Excursion 5: Hidden Bay, The Passage and Kabui

after breakfast, departure around 09:00amto see what Alfred Russel Wallace describbed as“One of the most […] picturesque landscapes I have ever seen…”. To reach The Passage, you will head west of Yeben towards Gam. You will pass by a pearl factory and then arrive to the most famous passage of West Papua. It is a narrow passage of water that separates Gam and Waigo island, each side punctuated with rising limestone cliffs. Resembling a river flowing between the two islands, the nutrient rich waters that are drawn through at a rapid rate by the tides support a vast wealth of marine biodiversity. Take your camera and enjoy the scenic view. You may snorkel around this special area which includes strong currents and mangroves. We will then stop to a small isolated jetty around Kabui where we will take a morning tea/coffee break. After this stop, we will bring you to the Hidden bay entrance to enjoy snorkeling above corals. Then you will enter the Hidden Bay. It is another Raja Ampat’s gems. With a narrow entrance easy to overlook, once inside a long narrow channel with coral reefs and small sharks finally split into a maze of rock islands and side bays. You can shot the peacefull and beautifull lagoon and observe a bat cave located in the end of the bay. Lunch follows, at a nearby beach. after breakfast, departure around 08:00am to see the Raja Ampat famous Lagoon, and most beautifull coral reef of Raja Ampat. Trip starts will take about 35min to reach Fam wall with soft coral as your surrounding view. We will then stop on a nearby island for snack and to enjoy some curious lizards nearby the beach. Continue to snorkel or dive in Melissa's Garden, the oldest and most pristine coral reef of Raja Ampat. After the breathtaking underwater of Melissa's Garden, we will go to the Piaynemo jetty where we will stop to have a lunch. You will then climb the stairs to the top of Piaynemo point which has a stunning view. The last point to view will be Star Lagoon to which the name is based on the star shape. On the way back, depending of the weather and tide condition, we may stop at Lagoon Kecil, a small lagoon in front of Piaynemo with a unique shape.
